A business qualification will allow Danielle to chase her dream*
Danielle McAuliffe worked all over the world with her undergraduate qualification in occupational therapy, before deciding that she needed additional skills in business and leadership to pursue her long-term goal of opening a practice together with her sisters.
When Danielle moved back to Australia last year she felt inspired to take her career to the next level, and enrolled in CQUniversity’s online Master of Business Management, choosing a major in Hospital and Health Services Management from options including Business Analytics, International Business, Marketing, Organisational Finance, Public Administration and Social Innovation.
“I felt I had reached a point in my career where I was ready to undertake more of a managerial role.”
Danielle said that studying this course would enable her to grow her specialist management skills, lead a team more successfully and confidently, and better understand what it takes to effectively operate a business.
“I chose CQUniversity because it allowed me to complete the entire course online, which meant I could continue working full time.”
Danielle said studying online had been extremely beneficial, given the flexible learning environment and the support of her lecturers.
“The increased flexibility in learning has allowed me to study the content at my own pace and accommodate my work commitments.
“I always feel supported by my lecturers, and by engaging with a smaller cohort of students, my study experience has become more personal and my confidence has grown.”
Danielle said that by the end of the course, she would have gained the skillset required to achieve her dream.
“Although it took me a little while to get my head around university again, after being in the workforce for six years, CQUniversity made my transition smooth and easy.”
