Founded in 1905 when a small group of postal workers decided to put in sixpence from their pay each week to form a funeral fund for the widows when any of the society members died, APS Benefits has grown to offer a rage of professional and financial services to its members from the public service, public sector and defense force.
APS members have access to online facilities available 24 hours a day, seven days per week.
APS Benefits also offers funeral cover and can assist members to gain immediate funeral cover up to $20,000 for adults and $7,000 for dependent children (aged two to 15 at their next birthday).
APS Savings Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of APS Benefits and offers a Fixed Term Investment product.
The term can be 30 days, six months, 12 months or 24 months.
The APS Benevolent Foundation is a registered charity and a deductible gift recipient. Any donations it receives above $2 are tax deductible.
The APS Benevolent Society has a long history of providing benevolent grants to its members in times of need and of supporting a plethora of community events – the Foundation enables us to expand our level of benevolence.
Membership is also open to spouses, partners, siblings, parents and children of members.
