Attendees were impressed with the range of equipment and services on display, along with evidence of the many pioneering concepts being developed by the
construction industry.

Visitors to the expanded demonstration site saw various equipment performing its capabilities and unique operational features in live action.

Event manager Frank Sticka said the high number of visitors underscored why exhibitors return each year, establishing the event as a great medium for generating sales and leads for businesses in these particular industries.

Winner of the Most Innovative Product was the Shibaura SG280E sloper mower by Macarthur Mowers & Marine and ADE Turf Equipment for its “unique tilting seat and wide wheelbase that allows the mower to operate on slopes up to 30 degrees with much improved operator safety and comfort.”

Vivax-Metrotech was highly commended in the Innovative Product category for their V Cam 5 CCTV Inspection System.

The judges said “The integrated tracking sonde can pinpoint the remote controlled camera at any time where real time images can be transmitted by
WiFi to a mobile as an observing remote from the fixed monitor.”

Best New Product was awarded to the Leica Icon Telematics System by C.R. Kennedy, with judges saying its “enhanced performance, next generation software and improved compatibility between components” made the system an obvious winner.
