Manningham tops in customers service

Manningham Council's ongoing commitment to excellence in customer service has been further recognised at the Australian Customer Service Awards, by winning the National Award in the Category of Medium Business. Manningham is the first Victorian Council to win this prestigious national award.

"Winning the State award several weeks ago was a wonderful effort but to go on to the National finals and have this success is an outstanding achievement," said Mayor Lionel Allemand.

"I must pay tribute to the dedication of the entire Manningham staff on a job well done. While this is their award, the benefits of the hard work and dedication flows across the entire community.

"The ASCA awards are very prestigious and meet very strict criteria. The awards are a benchmark recognising those organisations that have achieved excellence in customer service.

"The Manningham community should be very proud to know that their Council has not only matched it with the best private and government organisations in the State but it is now recognised as a leader in customer service on a National level as well."

The Australian Customer Service Association (ACSA) is a not for profit professional organisation dedicated to improving customer service across Australia. The annual ACSA Awards are the means by which Australia's best service performers across all industries, states and sectors are identified and acknowledged nationally.
