Tool boxes built tough to last*DSM Tool Boxes specialise in the production of extra heavy duty vehicle toolboxes at its Dalby factory in Queensland. Company Director, Mick Pearson, started making toolboxes around 20 years ago and these boxes are still in use on vehicles today. As demand for industrial strength toolboxes grew, Mick established DSM which now distributes nationally and overseas. “People who buy our toolboxes like the fact that they are designed for harsh Australian conditions and suitable for utilities/fleet vehicles, maintenance contractors, service technicians, trucks, mining and earthmoving vehicles,” he said. “DSM uses the latest computer aided design and fully welded construction when building our user friendly toolboxes; some models featuring double skins, recessed handles, and rolled steel edges. “We have the most extensive range of industrial strength toolboxes made in Australia, all secure, weatherproof and carrying a lifetime warranty.” Toolbox parts made from 1.6mm, 2mm and 3mm steel are cut out, folded and fully welded, sandblasted, zinc coated then powder coated in each customer’s chosen colour. Customers agree that DSM toolboxes have proven easy access and provide safe, high density storage compared to other brands of toolboxes. The company’s large range of ute cabinets has proved highly popular due to features such as rounded sloped lids, gas strut doors, adjustable shelves and dividers, three point locking and optional fold out lower fronts or two or four drawers, depending on box length. UCL cabinets also feature even larger storage capacity with a wider top, allowing overhead racking space unhindered by the lid. DSM cabinets range in length from 680mm to 1700mm and heights from 600mm to 900mm. For further information contact Stephen Gillespie at DSM on (07) 4662 3777. * Copy supplied by DSM Tool Boxes
