Local Government FOCUS is a free, independent newspaper highlighting key issues facing Local Government and promoting best practice among Councils across Australia.

Local Government FOCUS was first published in Victoria in 1985. In 1989 circulation was extended to cover New South Wales and in February 1996 national circulation commenced.

Published monthly, 18 copies are mailed to each Council for distribution to elected members and senior officers. A number of the larger Councils have requested and receive additional copies.
